Hi there, and welcome! I’m Jackie, one of the co-owners of Kamileon Lodges. We’re a family-run business offering deluxe “home from home” lodge accommodation on a friendly family site close to the stunning North Cornwall coast, near Padstow.

My love affair with Cornwall started when I was a child, spending long sunny holidays in a caravan at beautiful Treyarnon Bay – one of the famous “7 Bays for 7 Days” beaches. Those holidays created memories I’ll treasure forever: sandy toes, sea air, beach days, and family time.

When I had a family of my own, it felt only natural to return to the same coastline and give my children those same magical experiences. We owned a caravan there for several years, but as time went on and it needed replacing, we started looking for something a little more permanent – and that’s when we discovered Atlantic Bays Holiday Park in St Merryn, near Padstow.

We upgraded to a lovely 6-berth chalet on a peaceful, flat site just 3 miles from Cornwall’s breathtaking beaches. Waking up to the beautiful Cornish countryside outside our windows quickly became our happy place.

Before long, we introduced the rest of the family – nieces, nephews, and all – to the relaxed Cornish lifestyle, and they loved it just as much as we did! Together, we purchased Kamileon Lodge: our spacious 6-berth, 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom fully equipped lodge with its own hot tub and soon added Rafiki Lodge: a further 6-berth, 3 bedroom lodge. It’s now a place where family and friends can escape everyday life, enjoy coastal walks, beach adventures, surfing, bodyboarding, or simply relax and unwind.

Of course, Cornwall isn’t only beautiful in the sunshine. There’s something truly special about wrapping up warm for a dramatic coastal walk while the waves crash and the sea breeze blows – especially when you can return afterwards to a cosy lodge and put the kettle on!
